I still vividly remember my school years and the bullying and harassment by boys. Of course girls were often mean as well, but boys were just so disgusting. They always said degrading and disgusting stuff. They would mention body parts, talk about porn, sexually harrass me, touch my butt. They also sexually harassed female teachers. I remember some of those women and how uncomfortable they felt teaching in front of those imbeciles.
And the way people reacted to that was often very dismissive. Some people even said "don't worry, he's being like that because he likes you!" or "they are teenage stupid boys, they are horny and stupid" I cringe when I remember that. Like, how is that acceptable behaviour? Of course it's not because they like me. Being sexually attracted to somene does not equal liking someone lol. How come I should feel like I deserve to be mistreated every day simply because one of the genders thinks they should bully and harrass others because of their sexuality. I was also horny as a teen, but didn't feel the need to broadcast it to the whole world and harass others. And I remember all the "cool girls" part-taking in their conversations and laughing those comments off just to seem cool, likeable and not uptight. And they got disrespected even more.
TL;DR did you ever get bullied or harassed in school by boys? Was is normalised and dismissed by other people?
there doesn't seem to be anything here
