This goes out to anyone trying to invest money anywhere. Definitely do your research beforehand and don't put all your eggs in one basket, especially if that basket ends up getting a hole.

100% Agree with you op. Do loads of research beforehand. I invest in dividend stocks and at the moment I hold 5 different stocks. Two have done really well during the pandemic so far and the other three have not.

I don't even bother looking at them to seriously though, I invest when they are high and of course I invest when they are low but all I really care about is the dividends and that compounded interest. I am only 23 so I still have lots to learn but it is a good way to make your money work for you.

The myth is you can invest once and close your eyes for the rest of your life.

That is not the efficient way to do it. These are the things I learned in my years of 'investing' (trading).

Learn to read the candle charts. Go through charts every single day. Keep your emotions in check. Your loyalty is only to the money you put in and never to any company. Always have a defined target and a stoploss and be ready to pull out of the market at any time.

You gotta invest in crypto, when in doubt, HODL! You can’t swing for a homerun at every play, it’s better to make off with a few thousands and play it safe than lose hundreds of them. Whenever I’m down, you gotta invest in other currency!
