This question was motivated because a RP went to an askWomen-sub and told a 14y-old girl that has a question about how to ask a guy out to: cut her standards in half and find someone that meets half those standards and go and stand pretty in the area he's looking at.

And I think most of the women of this sub, would remember accounts like that from their own childhood.

So why do you do that?
