Hi ladies,
I have mostly been a lurker on Reddit, and a few weeks ago I found FDS and some other women-centric subs. I have been devouring the material and was so excited to find communities that I would want to participate in. I've been meaning to write out some of my history with LVMs to share, but haven't gotten around to it yet. In light of recent bans, I wanted to pop in and say how much I appreciate FDS. I am not currently dating, nor am I ready to date, but this has really shifted my frame of mind about dating when I do decide to try it again.
I really love the emphasis on leveling up your own life and never being in a place where you have to depend on someone, so you are free to walk instead of being stuck in a bad relationship. I've been happily independent for some time after getting out of an abusive relationship, and it was so nice to find a community of women who would rather be single than with LVM, but also find concrete help on how to weed out LVM and find HVM. At some point I'll be ready to date again and I look forward to giving FDS strategies a try.
I saw a post recently that said something like "It's not men vs women, it's high-value vs low-value" and that is really important to me because while I have had plenty of experience with LVM, I also have had an issue with attracting abusive female "friends" in my life. A lot of FDS material has helped me learn my worth and to not put up with anyone, male or female, who will not treat me with respect.
So, I hope this community sticks around; otherwise I will see you all on Discord!
