I had surgery earlier this week, but before that surgery I had been speaking to three women who displayed pretty high interest. The thing is, with this surgery my face is swollen like a pumpkin and I cannot even eat solid foods for like 3 months, so basically that stops me from going on dates for the next few months. I brought up the idea of dates with these chicks before the surgery and they were all down but I had to break it to them that it probably wouldn't happen for some time because I'd need to recover, and they seemed okay with that. Their interest may drop though from me not doing anything with them for months (which is fine, they're just Hinge girls, but obviously if I can keep their interest somewhat high it would be better). I just wanted to know how to best approach this situation. I know that the more I stay in touch with them the more their attraction drops, so I was planning on just not hitting them up at all until I'm ready to date again. Is this smart?

Just a bit of added information, one of them mentioned to me that she's only in town for the summer before she has to go back to her college, which obviously means she wanted to hook up.
