Indian primary school textbook are filled with message like" small families get more" ,"less siblings mean more food and less sharing" isn't India facing a dictator or authoritarian issue now?

I was a kid when she died and I remember her being praised by the media (in socialistic eastern europe). I never heard she was a dictator.

That said, from the society point of view that measure does make sense, and vasectomy is / was much simpler than sterilising women.
