I had my first reddit post removed after I used the word "bitchy" in one sentence. It was seriously a well written, honest, and unhateful post about my experience with abusive women. I actually put a lot of thought into writing it and asked good questions at the end. I described a look on a girl's face as "bitchy" and all hell broke loose.

Seriously, this woman responds, avoids my questions, pulls out the 3 sentences she found "offensive" and starts throwing a royal tantrum. Before I could defend myself, it was deleted for use of an "insensitive gender slur." Seriously?

What I would have liked to point out if I had the chance.... This was only offensive because it pointed out flaws in female culture, let's be honest. It struck a nerve. It was most likely downvoted, bashed and reported by other females. You can find an abundance of posts about womens' negative experiences with men all across reddit. They are not removed.

Then there's the use of the term "Mansplaining" on any post where a male has an opinion of his own, no matter how respectful. This isn't reported as gender slurring. Start a sentence with "All women are..." and you will be raked across the coals. Start a sentence with "All men are..." and you'll have feminists and white knights riding in to defend you.

Does reddit seriously not get how hypocritical this bullshit is?
