One of my best friends of over 10 years has in the last few months been going out with this girl at uni and it has started to become a problem. She is a feminist, not just a cultural feminist either. She believes in rape culture and trigger warnings among the other typical feminist jargon. She has been a huge influence on him and it has started affecting our group of friends. We hardly ever see him anymore and she is ALWAYS with him (the last time I saw him was at a party a month or two ago and he left early because she was waiting for him at home (his home might I add). Anyway she has belittled him on facebook in front of everyone (including his family) several times and it really bothers me. This all culminated with him lecturing me about trigger warnings and why they were a good thing, I stayed calm and only used logic and facts in our argument but he wouldn't have any of it and it ended with him rage quitting like a little baby on me. He never would have been so illogical before he met her and it really makes me sad to see him like this. I'd just like to know if anyone else has experienced something similar and how they dealt with it or if anyone has any advice in general. Sorry for going on a bit. Cheers
