Not sure if this is the right place to bring this up.
I'm in a new job where the majority of my department are women (including my boss). Before I started working I was told by my boss that they're all tight like a family, but yet, I've had different staff warning me to be careful of other staff. To each others' faces, they're like the best of friends. But yet whenever I talk to certain people, I'm beginning to see the cracks and noticed who's fake and who isn't.
Now, based on my RP reading and learning of psychology, am I correct to assume that women are generally fake with each other? I was reading The Rational Male and some of the TRM essaya, and there was one about empathy. Apparently women lack empathy but not sympathy.
Is this what I'm witnessing in real life in the workplace?
There are men in the department, but out of 15 people, only 3 of us are men. It feels like because there are more women, they actually have the upper hand.
