my own experience. go out and try different things when approaching, notice patterns, reflect on the past. you should not spam approach, but take every opportunity you are genuinely interested in.

watching others is good as well. find people that are good at being assertive yet friendly with others (not just women, but people in general) and watch the way they interact with others.

RSD Julien is the best at cold aproach

Alan Roger Currie is boss AF. his game is very direct and balls out, but if you start going for things this way, normal approaches will seem like a joke how easy they are.
