Graph: Success at Soliciting Sex vs. Average Overall Attractiveness

Explanation of the graph:

These are called sigmoidal curves. What makes a curve sigmoidal is that its rate of increase (or decrease) is first slow, then fast, then slow again. I propose that this is our basis for slut shaming, and this is also the explanation of exceptions we encounter in our explanation of slut shaming, the "women have it easier" explanation. First, I need to define attractiveness. Attractiveness here means all the qualities that would make one gender appealing to the other gender, sexually. So this is an umbrella term that takes into account individual traits that work better if you're a woman compared to a man, and vice versa.

Using the 1-10 scale of attractiveness, it's probably true that the most UNattractive men and women both have just about the same kind of difficulty having sex. The 1's aren't getting laid, no matter who you are. As attractiveness increases, a gap forms where women begin to have it much easier.

For 5's and 6's, the difference is most pronounced. Women have it a LOT easier. Since this is also where MOST people lie on the attractiveness scale (definition of average), this is why this stereotype exists. Most people's experiences are that the average girl has an easier time getting laid, and more opportunities for it, than the average guy.

As attractiveness increases more, the gap begins to decrease such that our 10's have probably equal ease of sexual exploits, regardless of gender.
