I was pretty on point recently and girls wanted me in terms of you know stuff girls do. so she's grinding against me but super discretely, and I'm touching her butt which she's letting me - meanwhile I realize there is a guy there who just hugs her, she hid this dancing thing (this was very crowded), so when I saw that I went off to look for someone else instead. There are a lot of girls with guys who're sort of with but I think not that into or doubtful they'll go home together.

In these cases even if they're not physical, just an orbiter, I'm somewhat afraid of asking the girls to dance because even if the guy is an orbiter he can make a scene or tell me to get off of 'his' girl. (I imagine.)

how do you deal with these situations? This is in a nightclub where tons of people hook up and go home together. basically by halfway through the night a lot of girls have a guy who's talking their ear off that they're not that into. (But I guess might go home with if nothing better comes along.)
