Firstly, thanks for all the TRP advice, helped me a lot with sorting out my life and relationship.

A few days ago, at a party, a guy cracked a harsh joke (basically an insult) about arriving late to a party at my fiancee’s expense. Me being mildly autistic with poor social skills, didnot register the insult at that time, and laughed with everyone else at her for being stupid (instead of standing up for her and protecting her honor I guess).

She didnot talk to me for a couple of days and finally fessed up yesterday that she got hurt that I didnot stand up for her while getting insulted that day.

She talks to me like she is dead inside and all the flirting and loving texts from her end had suddenly disappeared after that day.

I can sense she lost respect for me. I didnot apologize to her about it, i said i will try to be sensitive to her feelings next time.

I think I fucked up, please help me brothers. What is the right thing for me to do given that she lost respect for me now and wont forget that incident?

(p.s: I wont be able to meet her in person until the wedding)
