The general consensus between the men and women was that it's okay to be blunt with men because they can take it, but that women should only be told by women in their family or very close female friends and it should never be blunt, but done in a supportive, positive way and even at that, you should let her do whatever she wants because she might be happy in her own skin.

And I was thinking, yeah, whatever, but what irked me to no end was that if that same radio station put up a poll the next day asking "Who has the better mentality in life - Men or Women" then the women would win that poll by a landslide. Even most of the men would vote for women. "Childbirth, having to look good all of the time, more societal pressures" and so on. It's such bullshit. Everything is a double standard and they never stop talking about it. If I wanted to, I genuinely couldn't keep up with it all.
