I'm in medical school and in a small friend group that I just recently met last week, we all got together drank a bunch, danced and had a good time this friday night after a long week of classes. One of my friends who I met was pouring his heart out about this girl in the group who he was really into and another guy who knew her better told him that he had a 20% chance with her (her words were that she wasn't into white guys, looking back she made an offhanded comment that I was really tan, not sure if relevant but I'm half hispanic so that's where it comes from).

She isn't bad looking, and I was trying to tell him to make his move and be more outgoing and engaging and a fun time with her, but later on in the night while I was dancing around she told me, "you're so handsome". My response was, "yeah, I know". I'd probably drank a bottle of wine at that point so I was feeling pretty bold, but I think I could hook up with this girl at some point in the near future. My only issue is that my buddy has a thing for this girl and I'd slightly feel bad about it.
