A rare instance of paying attention to lyrics

After recently listening to something outside my usual tastes (ja rule and Bobby brown “thug lovin”), it dawned on me that much of the lyrical content within seemed remarkably apt at tapping into the mindset of a woman bored with her current partner

Only ever dug the chorus hook, but paying close attention to the verses, found myself thinking “that’s pretty damn good as an example of a guy tapping into womanly desires lyrically”

Obviously a very broad generalisation, but definitely had a moment of thinking after paying attention to the lyrics of “how did I miss this for so long?”
