Young men want to have an adventure, they want to go out, fight the orcs/stormtroopers, kill the dragon/blow up the death star, rescue the princess, win the treasure. Young women want an emotional adventure. They want to meet the mysterious/infuriating/dashing/scoundrel Han Solo/Rhett Butler. They want to have to fight to get him to love them, they want overcome obstacles that prevent their love by society/the Montagues/Capulets, they want to have to fight other women for him and come out on top, they want to have their heart broken, they want to hate him/love him/be jealous/be angry/be sad/be excited/be happy/be crushed, they want him to be taken away while they pine for him, etc. We call all of this "drama," but it is no different than guys wanting to go on a road trip where they meet a hot girl, fight a thug, are beaten, rise up and win, have a series of adventures, etc. like in the movie True Romance. So your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to give women the emotional adventure they desire.
