I appreciate all of your responses to my post. I've taken much of your advice and it has helped out quite a bit.

I joined a gym recently and I have put myself on a schedule to go at least 5 days per week. I started chatting with a few members that I see often and I can say a few of them are my friends now and wave to me when they see me. One of them has helped spot me on squat. Just getting out of the house and talking with people really helps with my loneliness.

I am still WFH with the job and it still feels miserable and slightly killing my motivation. But, I am trying to practice more "gratefulness" and "appreciation" that I am currently employed. I understand that there are many folks who are in a worse position than I am and maybe working jobs that absolutely suck. Some folks out there are struggling to make ends meet (especially now that Governors shut things down without a care in the world. Fuck all of them. I'm glad the Capitol got wrecked.)

I am trying to attend Church more often. One of my goals for this year is to reconnect with Christ and read more of the Bible. I've missed out on the true meaning of Christ for so long because I never took the time to understand Him. Christ took beatings and lashes for us. He knew he was going to be crucified for defending us and yet carried it anyway. They(we) drove massive nails through his hands and feet and hung him up until he died. Who am I to complain about anything?

Lastly, I've wronged a few people, some men, some women, in my life. In the last few days, I have reached out and made attempts to apologize for my wrongdoings. Some have been receptive and others, not so much. But, I feel that it is important to make the effort and to seek reconciliation.

I still feel a little lonely inside, but I am happy that I have been able to take steps to fix things. I am making efforts to get out in public and be a better person. Here's to 2021 and the next chapter in my life.
