the difference is WSB lost. the hedge fund used their clout with market makers and brokerages to ban retail buying of the stock and force margin calls, which forced an instant selloff where retail buyers could not purchase... only the hedge funds and institutions. the drop caused a bunch of stop limits to fire, which only cratered the price further. the fund was able to offload about $6 billion in toxic positions, and then slowly offload most of the rest over the next week and change.

MGTOW is winning. there's literally nothing they can do to stop us short of crazy shit that'd cause rioting, civil war, and revolution.
