I have seen female anime characters behave horribly including killing people in cold blood and females and simps still defend them.

Such as misa Amane from death note, yuno gasai from mirrai nikki and Shimitsu megumi from shinki.

And then we have horrible characters who beat the shit out of the male character like sakura and makes fun of him for being an orphan but people still defend her.

Endeavour is flawed but so many characrers have done way worse than him. His wife is the one who burned their son but it is him who is always called out.

He is actually good at his job helping more people than the best hero who is basically superman. I am not saying he is the greatest character ever but these people are being idiots to send the author death threats.
