In chess, queen became a piece later. The original piece was called, ahem, Ferz, from Farzin, meaning councilor. Queen became a thing in chess only after it came to cucked europe.

The queen was originally the vizir or advisor. Most powerful man in the kingdom and not bound by the same rules as his king.

Interesting piece of trivia: the moves of the queen in modern chess come from a relatively recent variant of the game, which used to be known as "the mad queen." The piece originally was much less powerful.

I didn’t learn it as queen when I started playing chess as a child. It was called the commander. I still to this day have no idea why call it the queen.
