Title is the problem. She was provoked in a fight with her boss and quit her job in writing on the spot. Now she has a limited amount of time to find a job, during the lockdown. Otherwise she will not be allowed to stay here.

She'll probably need my help to find a new job and could need emotional support I guess. But I am very upset that she made such a influential (and stupid) decision without talking to me, and quite frankly I find it disrespectful.

So how do I handle this in terms of making this point clear? Soft next? Having a serious talk?
