As an overweight woman, I can confirm that some of us don't like being overweight. We're overweight because we either developed eating disorders due to emotional issues or because of conditions like PCOS or thyroid that make it difficult for us to lose weight. Those cartoons that you see posing in revealing clothes in plus size magazines, we're not them. We don't find ourselves sexy or good looking. We actually think we're unattractive and are fetishized by creepy men. It makes us feel insecure and disgusted by ourselves. Being fetishized doesn't make us feel good. Trust me.

We feel jealous of those petite and delicate looking thin girls. We don't feel jealous of plump women unlike how the media is trying to make it look. I see thin girls with decent guys and overweight girls with creepy guys. It's pretty clear what kind of people we attract and its nauseating.

Feminism has made it difficult for us to talk about the emotional and social problems of overweight women. If we feel disgusted by creepy men, we are told to embrace the attention. Most of us want to cover our body and avoid wearing tight clothes. But no, according to feminists we are letting women down by doing that.

There are creepy men out there that stalk us and openly cat call us because they think we are overweight because we like it and we enjoy being fetishes. This needs to stop.

I have stopped posting photos of myself of facebook because I'm sick of weirdos leaving sick comments and messages. Overweightness is a horrible problem that makes people treat you like trash. Nothing funny or sexy about it.
