My thesis

Radical feminism started to creep to the middle east and its honestly doing TONS of damage to the feminist movement. where women still actually need help to shift the persistent patriarchal ways of thinking. Women are still being oppressed as if we were in the dark ages. Honor crimes, rape and harassments go unpunished with absurdly lenient laws, among many other things.

this made Radical feminism appeal to many women here, they perhaps see in it an expression of frustration of the injustice. but it divided the "liberal" and made them an easy target for the "conservatives".

By liberal in the middle eastern context I mean advocating for the most basic rights

while by conservatives (again in the middle east) I mean religious fundamentalists (people who believe in absurdly inhumane things against women).

by radical feminists I mean people who believe "all men are bad" and genuinely hate on men, I just mean people with shallow mindsets and an IQ equivalent to that of the keyboard I'm typing on.

the division in men

the division between the liberal was most apparent in men. Men were already called "simps" with all its negative connotations, for merely fighting for women right. now with radical feminists it became harder to avoid these negative connotations.

with radical feminism ideas like "all men are trash", "kill all men", "assume all men are bad for your safety" are hard to argue with when you're still fighting for women's' rights. getting cancelled from women (any of them) will practically render your voice meaningless when fighting for their rights. And the tough part is keeping silent while still actively fighting for their rights, automatically associates you with these beliefs, and you become a "submissive cuckold" for the conservatives.

the other part of liberal men, simply don't fight for these specific reasons, the negative connotations are simply not worth the effort, now one can argue that this is not morally righteous and you should fight no matter what, but that's not the point, the point is radical feminism made it harder for men to actively fight for women's right.

the division in women

the division in women is much more heartbreaking, conservative brainwashed women became more convinced of the "damage feminism is causing" to our society, and they are so biased and brainwashed that it become extremely hard to separate for them equality and radical feminism, and they started to assume that equality is just about moving from "male superiority" which they are accustomed with and believe to "female superiority". this completely subverts everything they have learned and contradicts every "fact" about human nature they have been raised to believe.

and women who try to point that out by responding to radical feminism, who have better chances at convincing conservative women than men, are shot down and called a "pick-me" girl who seeks "male approval", and we all know how difficult it is to respond to something this stupid. This inadvertently solidifies the idea that feminism is all about female superiority for conservative religious women, and they would rather believe in "male superiority" which they have been taught since birth, BY BOTH PARENTS INCLUDING THEIR OWN MOTHER.

closing points

  • we all know that radical feminism has nothing to do AT ALL with equality, but lets all be honest here, the general public is dumb, or at least plays dumb to achieve their specific goals and assert their ideologies.
  • another point is radical feminism is so controversial in the Middle East that they get all the social media attention. making their "beliefs" appear much much more widespread than they actually are, giving their voice leverage on others, they are easily heard and noticed.
  • Because of the way social media works, both the liberals and conservatives are isolated in their individual "social media bubbles" meaning their voices are echoed only to each their individual group, their voices are barely and hardly ever heard by the other. but because radical feminism is controversial, their voices are heard by both parties, making conservatives more sure of their beliefs, and liberals more leaned to keeping quite out of fear of getting cancelled.

where I stand

I honestly has always had a passive mentality when it came to fighting for women's rights, but lately I have changed this attitudes towards a more active rule, and had gotten in conflict with people who I thought were friends some of them were women!!, but I also didn't want to keep quite about radical feminism and I sadly found myself getting cancelled by "feminists" and I ended up just keeping quite about it, because well it sucks and hurts. And it feels awful to see all the hate towards men and still try to actively fight for women's right. But I'll keep fighting, I won't let the conservatives win.
