I'm in high school and I fucking hate this. I am an extrovert, I talk to everyone and that's cool cause I get invited to cool activities and shit but the only girls that like me are outgoing and a lot of times they are low quality (aka let's get wasted and post it on snapchat). The type of girl I like is the shy one who spends her weekend watching movies and shit or goes to the park and takes pictures of nature but these shy girls seem to always reject me. I know cold approaching doesn't work in high school and it's more of a social circle thing but how are you supposed to be in her circle if she only has shy female friends who rarely go out ? Last week in gym class I was talking to this shy girl and she loves museums and art and I told her I don't know much about it but I'm curious and so I asked her to give me her number so she could tell me more and go to a museum together and she said "uuuhh I'll give it to you another time" (which means never). This is only an example but I always get rejected by these shy girls, on the other hand these girls that like to get wasted and shit tell me "there's a party tomorrow come with me!" Is it my looks ? Cause I don't look like a shy guy. Is it the fact that I'm surrounded by these extroverts and these shy girls want shy guys ? Keep in mind this is high school so all these leader Chad shit isn't popular in high school. There's a couple I admire at school cause they're shy and don't talk much to other people but I've seen them sometimes at the park either jogging or having a picnic or studying. I would rather do those things instead of getting wasted soo yeah.
