What sort of jobs do you want to do? A degree in engineering or medicine would be more useful in most cases.

Look towards a job that will give you the best combo of money, enjoyment, and freedom. Pick which one of the three is most important to you and go from there.

Just an FYI though, the subjects you mentioned that you enjoyed reading, so does everyone else. Psych degrees and the like are a dime a dozen. You're probably like 99% of Americans who hate and fear math, but if you're any good at it, get a math degree.

If I could go back now, I'd be an actuary. Very in need. And the pay is awesome right out the gate.

People hate math because they fear it, but all it is is a set of rules piled on top of each other. It wasn't until I started looking at it that way that it made any sense to me.

I'm in my masters degree, and I've talked to peers and people who actually get jobs. Let me just ask you though, what side of eng makes you feel miserable, and how much work can you do before you crack, and where are your strengths and weaknesses?
