She's 20's, I'm 40's. Conservative small town. I fancied her from passing in the street a few times but never approached.

So she finds me on social media, begins a convo. I wasn't even sure if same girl at first, but she remembered exactly when and where I saw her in the street/restaurant/shop.

So at this point I'm thinking "Fish. Barrel." and I try to arrange a meet up... which is when she starts in with the "I'm not one of those girls" type slut-avoidance rhetoric.

See, she's seen me around with a variety of plates. To her I'm the guy who gets plenty of younger women. I thought this proof would make it even easier, but she has this giant wall of finger-wagging "Nuh-uh, no you don't" attitude. (While at the same time constantly re-starting our convo if I let it lapse).

I really don't care that much about fucking her, plating her, dating her, or having her as a girlfriend (though I'd take the first two of those). But she kept coming back to our online chat, then being coy about a date...

Finally we went out. Turned out we were in the nearest big-city at the same time. So we go out and I'm thinking "Perfect. Nobody here knows me or her, so she won't resist on the basis of slut-perception." But she resisted pretty well, ha. A little kino was going fine, arm-over-shoulder seemed liked, but kiss rejected three times. And no take-home.

But she was back on chat soon after. Three days after, I told her I had moved on to visit another town and she was like "Did you hook up with someone there? Are you trying to?"

So, anyway. What the hell?

Just an attention-seeker looking for nothing more than an orbiter?

Or possibly wants me but has really internalised the slut-shaming attitude (remember, small conservative town) and just has a higher expectations for "the dance".

I know that for every woman, there are men who will give her enough tingles to fuck at the drop of a hat... Clearly I am not that, for her, but maybe she is still plate-able? Or maybe she only sees me as a beta-bux possibility (and therefore will require promises before sex, and have histrionics if promises broken afterwards).
