Okay so i saw this girl she was HOT and she was kind of looking at me, but we were at the library, i was working with some classmates and she seemed busy studying with someone across from her.

And I'm pussy so i didn't do anything and just left when my classmates finished.

So I'm wondering what's the way to go about this.

I'm thinking it can be condensed to like 2 steps

  • 1): Approach and say something that makes it comfortable to talk with her

  • 2): Make up some excuse as to why you can't talk with her at the moment and ask her if she wants to go do something together sometime (if she says yes you get number)

2) Seems really straight forward, in my case (college campus) i'd just say i have to go to class or do some hw or some bullshit, and then ask her if she'd want to have lunch sometime (everyone has lunch at the same hour cuz classes so seems good)

1) is where I'm lost at, I have to provide a reason for approaching her and make up some small talk that isn't awkward, what can i say so that it doesn't seem too awkward when i ask her if she wants to go out for lunch sometime?

  • I don't want to be like "omg ur so pretty lets talk later", too direct and i don't like giving compliments it makes me look like a beta bootlicker, it has to convey this idea but without actually saying it.

I was thinking something along the lines of "what are you doing" + "that's interesting" + "what's your name/my name is" + "[hername] want to talk over lunch some time" ????

but it kind of sounds too forced that way, what's the protocol /trp/? How to be smooth with this direct day game shit?
