From my personal experience there are two types for me:

You just met a chick or have only seen her in class/work etc where ever and start creating a fantasy about what it's like to be with her, can picture yourself married etc. I've trained my brain to cut that shit out immediately and you need to recognize when it's happening.

Solution Approach her/text and find out what the reality is be bold and direct try and make a date. If Yes great if not time to move on.

You've been plating a girl or she is your GF. (This just happened to me btw). She becomes your only source of sex you stop approaching other women, you start giving in little by little to her simple demands sometimes big. It creeps up on you she's your only source of love chemicals dopamine/serotonin/Oxycontin w/e. It's much harder to make logical correct decisions and pass shit tests etc. I was a fool thinking I could keep the relationship going but when you're in the honeymoon phase and the attraction starts to drop your true colors and hers will show. God Speed.

Solution: Sunk-cost fallacy internalize it. Always stay present you could have amazing sex the day before but the next day she's cold you need to stay PRESENT at what's currently happening doesn't matter what happened in the past you need to realize what's happening now. Notice your own hamster you'll know when it's time to let go of a chick. Kill your myth of the one and other social conditioning there are just ones that are better.

Keep getting real life experience reading about what ifs won't be as effective then first hand. Life is about the ups and downs If a chick leaves or cheats on you, you need to be able to get back up quickly after falling. It gets easier the more times you go through it.

TLDR

Always approach your oneitis get her number and try to set up a date no more fairy tales in your head.
Stay Logical and present and act according to what's currently happening.
Abundance mentality cures oneitis having options keeps you centered and in control.
Always remember you were just as happy being single you can always find a new chick.
Abolish social conditioning.

Not anymore. Even Pre-reppill me figured that out; ex did a number so hard on my it showed me that "love feelings" are complete bullshit. It a lot easier and fun after swallowing TRP.
