I’d say I’m fairly attractive, 6 foot, muscular, tanned, early 20’s, well groomed etc.

Since the weather is getting hotter outside I’ve been wearing tank tops lately. Since doing that I’ve noticed a significant increase in IOI’s recently when I’m out in public.

What I have can’t seem to understand is when I’m approached by woman or (homosexual men,) the colder and distant I act, the more warm and curious they get.

Was shopping in a store today when I was approached by an older-ish woman (milf,) in her 40’s. She asked me if I worked in the store, I replied “no ma’am, I do not.” She smiled and said “oh I apologize hun, and proceeded to laugh and ask me if I workout.

I told her “yes I exercise,” as I’m browsing for some clothes. I barely made any eye contact as I was focused on finding an outfit for a party I was invited to tonight.

No matter how obvious I made it that I wasn’t interested, she just kept asking me soooo many questions while giggling constantly. All my replies were either a few words or less.

Why is it when a man shows interest the woman is stand-off ish at first or all together throughout the interaction and vice versa?

Couldn’t she tell I wasn’t the least bit interested lol, sorry not sorry. She was attractive but just not my type. It was kind of cringe and I felt bad when she just kept trying to get to know me. Eventually I snuck away and hid in the fitting room until she left. Oh and the “I’m married” excuse doesn’t seem to work either, when they notice I’m not wearing a ring.
