not saying the title should happen to girls either but what are the long term effects for this type of parenting on men? I'm trying to compare that to how I am now. I'm too good of a guy (i'm not a fake r/niceguys guy with zero boundaries who double texts people). I hear about people here with female parents who make them whipped betas and it's basically the same thing.
When I stood up for myself in hs and below instead of being happy for me my dad would get mad with me rather than proud, like if he wanted me to be beta. because "I made him look bad to the staff" so that started my social anxiety at school which caused me extra whipping by school bullies. He's not even unathletic or weak but his mindset is like a woman in a mans body. Who was he trying to impress or prove shit to the whole time by whipping my ego and raising me as a burnout who submits to all people. How pushy he was with my boundaries that young was not masculine and borderline gay looking back on it
I'm gym maxxed by the way i don't even have a small physique by any means. but i have no "natural" primal presence, I always try to be fair with people. Women never come around to liking me because I don't have any standards for how others treat me. Early on any male ego was beaten out of me. I'm talented at the things he made me participate in but it mostly doesn't pay off in real life
Don't do the reddit shaming bull shit and say "stop blaming your parents" i'm a grown adult independent of them. It's a mindset i was molded to have since i was in diapers. impress them impress them impress them I'm almost a beta in real life if it weren't for my build, i want answers and want to see if someone relates
