It should also be noted that the date says 2010-2016 so the graph itself is 5-10 years old. Moreover given the complaints are given by your sisters who are living with you I assume that they are unmarried yet the graph is only looking at married couples which might skew the numbers as well.

Not to mention that the mainstream narrative during the time (and even now) is that men cheat and women don't. And people (especially women) react and report accordingly. So there is a chance (don't know how much) that women might actually be cheating more that men but are just saying no to conform and not to make an enemy of feminism.

For more context: My sisters (27,26,22) who live rent free in my house along with my parents (who pay a bit of the rent). Always talk bad about "all" men, except those in the house. Today's topic was on cheating, and how only men do it. When I, in my own home had the audacity to say that amongst the younger generation women actually cheat more, I was berated for my blatant misogyny, even shown statistics proving I was "wrong".

I doubt this very much and considering. Women are just better liars, to the point that you raise somebody elses kid without knowing for your whole lifetime.

Also when women cheat it usually more than just sex, but "love".

You should kick your sisters out. Tell them that they were right about your misogyny but you are turning over a new leaf. You are helping them realize their full potential as "strong, independent women who don't need no man!"
