So long story short, I broke up with my NVM ex 2 years ago. It was an abusive relationship and awful breakup. A few months later I began dating a new guy and my ex saw us in public and began harassing me to the point I was unable to stay in my apartment so I've since rented it out and moved in with my new BF. I know, I know. I wish things were different but for my safety and financial situation this is how it has to be. The process of leaving my apartment, getting it repaired and renovated to rent out and fully moving in with my boyfriend was a 6 month process and is literally the most stressful thing I have ever done in my entire life. So many things dragged out and went wrong.

Anyway, I feel like I've only just moved in even though I've been here for like 7 months now and prior to that I was living between two places. For 2 years I've been in survival mode and now I don't know what to do with myself. I used to have great routines and was quite organised but now I'm just so..lazy and scatter-brained. I think some of it has to do with the fact that I've gone from living in a tiny 1-bed to a two storey townhouse and I'm not sure how to handle this place. The stairs are steep AF and I can't seem to get rid of the mental block of not wanting to go up and down them. I'm really struggling to find the motivation to cook, exercise, etc on any kind of consistent routine.

Has anyone got any two-storey house tips/hacks? I find once I've gone upstairs for the night there's no hope in hell of me going back down. Or tips for having a mental reset and creating a new habit? I feel like my bad habits have gone on for so long it's really hard to break.
