A horrific story about sexism in US. A strong independent woman, really smart with a doctoral candidate, with years of education in a best university, was fighting against a social injustice. She even published a paper, so I can only respect her bright mind, I would never be able to publish a paper on whatever topic.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a straight male in Chicago assaulted her and violently killed. That is disgusting, I hope all women, especially with doctoral degrees, will visit Chicago, and organize a peaceful protest near the homeless encampment and will educate those stupid cis males, that killing women is really bad and this behaviour does not belong to the XXI century, it should be left in the old XX century.

I would also like to ask this community to condemn any violence, especially emotional, against women and tell those women how much we respect them, value them, and how we hope that next doctoral candidate, who want to visit that homeless encampment, will finish her journey without issues.

Our hearts are with us, women, you deserve the safety in Chicago, now go and take it.
