Maria da Penha Law can get you a free jail cell much quicker and yer no one gives a shit, this whole psychology violence is just a new layer ina much bigger pile of shit. And to be honest, very few women actually would use it, the above mentioned law can cause enough harm already and in much quicker/simpler ways.
