I am only less than a few weeks from moving out of my home state to begin Basic Training for the Air Force (and Space Force, since I have qualified for a job for that branch), and my parents are telling me that I will find a woman in the military to settle down with and provide them grandkids. Ever since I have taken the red pill mid/late 2019 and decided to be a man going my own way, getting married in the West is no longer in my interest knowing how the game is rigged against me as a man and how common it is for a spouse to cheat in the military (thanks to all the stories that were covered by Strong Successful Male on YouTube).

When I tried to politely tell my parents (without mentioning the red pill or MGTOW) that I have no interest, they respond by telling me not to "limit" myself. What kind of Disney/Hallmark crap have they been indulging themselves with? Then they will try to use one of my neighbors as an example that they both served in the military and have been happily married for many years. However, this is not the first time we had this kind of debate. During previous occasions, since both of my siblings are not into having kids, I try to convince my dad about the family courts, but his response is to just find a "good" woman and everything will be fine.

No matter how many times I have tried to give them valid points, they always view the lifestyle of marriage and kids as a blessing and the end all be all. Little do they know that the dating market in this day and age is no longer the same as it was in the 1970s where there was no social media and dating apps around that era. From their perspectives, they think that the younger generation have it a lot easier in the dating world with all the technology we have at the palm of our hands, but would rather view it with a blue pill lens, since in reality, dating apps and social media apps don't create healthy relationships; they only create a hookup culture.

Therefore, since there is no other way to convince them, I am just going to keep going my own way unsubscribed the Disney fairy tale and remain focus on building on "Twenty Years of Excellence" the first day when I arrive to Basic Training. Not only that joining the military is the first step to getting my foot in the door after struggling to find employment for a year thanks to the Global Pandemic, what I also aim to achieve during those twenty years is to work hard on my job to where I am competent enough to earn a side hustle for extra income, being able to focus on studying for certifications, earning a MS and MBA in both Cyber Security and IT Management respectively, travel to multiple countries around the world, build on my investment portfolio in stocks and crypto, and use the skills I have acquired from my Bachelors in Computer Science to build my own business with multiple divisions.

Twenty Years of Excellence, here I come!
