Hey guys, I've been reading TRP and associated books for the last 3-4 months after breaking up with my fiance. I finally had a chance to try and put into practice what I've been trying to learn a few nights ago now that I was finally home on leave and not surrounded by a bunch of ugly trolls on a Army base.

Essentially I was at a christmas party and this girl was giving IOIs and teased/kino/push-pull/etc. Now this girl is known within my group of friends to be easy and I ended up going back to the girl's apartment.

We got into her room and started making out and touching, she had changed and put on the TV for noise. After a little while though she started saying "lay down", "lets go to sleep", etc. I figured this was just some last minute resistance and attempted to push through it. Then it turned into her saying stuff like "lets just cuddle", "take me to dinner first", and she said she was on her period. (She tried suggesting a day for dinner, but I was gonna be out of town so I said no). She eventually rolled over and I felt like I hit a huge wall in regards to momentum and escalation. I figured I wasn't going to get anywhere at that point, so I got dressed and literally just left (about an hourish after getting there)

I never got her phone # from her because I didn't think I was going to need it the way the night was going and how it just abruptly ended.

Did I react correctly to this situation? Do y'all have any suggestions as to why I just hit that wall in regards to momentum? (not escalating enough or not-quickly enough)? Is there anywhere to go from here? Should I try and regain contact with her to try again?

Any advice would be great since this was my first time putting this stuff to practice. Thanks!
