This post will have some rage but also be kinda long because I try to give full context when story telling.
TL;DR: Female coworker gets upset and gets me in trouble for not doing a task no one at my job does by taking it to management.
So I work overnight and in the morning I get relieved by a woman. Now at this job I have 2 roles one is overnight the other has to be done during the day sometimes & even on call. My female relief is often late probably 30% (she has gotten better in the last week.)
I don't care if she is late as long as she shows up and I don't have to work longer into the day. (It has happened before) because I have 2 roles when my she is late and I have to perform my other role her being late makes me late. So a few times management has asked me why was I behind getting to my 2 tasks and my answer is my relief was behind today so I was behind. So this gets back to said female and she confronts me about that and another issue. The other issue is something I never said about her and I tell her that. I also tell her yea I have told management that you have been late because they asked why I'm late for other stuff and I have to explain myself.
So over the next couple of days when she walks in I still say hello to her but she doesn't reply after she doesn't this twice I stop with the pleasantries and don't talk to her at all giving her space not gonna force a conversation with her. I just finish up my work and exit.
THIS IS WHEN THE RAGE IS COMING IN
At my job they want us to work together when your relief comes in to make them aware of the status of the grounds. NO ONE EVER DOES THIS AND I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS WITH HER IN ALL THE TIME IVE WORKED THERE. but we cover for each other just putting down we didn't and move on. So what does my female coworker do? She sends an email to my boss and the director saying that I was being difficult and didn't complete a task that was mine even after she asked (she didn't)
One thing to note I work hard at this job and got far in a short period of time because I've shown that I'm dependable and take the job seriously.
SO my boss brings this up to me and says she understands that no one does this and we cover for each other but because she shared this with our higher up boss I have to be written up for not doing my job and lying on documents. This is the part that pisses me off this one thing that no one does and I know she doesn't do with the people that relied her I get in trouble for is beyond annoying.
So now I will be taking her through those steps and if she doesn't wanna go through it then it will be going into my report when I leave.
