I was watching The Dark Knight and Bruce's friend Rachel while in a serious relationship with Harvey, kisses Bruce in secret on multiple occasions. All while professing to love Harvey. These senorios are presented in so many films and the audience just takes it as normal behavior for a woman and even sympathizes with the character. My point is, that Hollywood has conditioned us to view this as reasonable behavior, even though the reality is blatant cheating. Don't get me wrong they're still all great movies but I just find it odd that it's become so normal to just except female hypergamy in our culture. If you reverse this narrative and the man in a movie kisses another woman that character is immediately shamed. Idk maybe I'm over thinking this, but an interesting observation nonetheless
