I found this description of what I'm going through on the internet by another user. The person called it "Peripheral vision OCD". This might be the wrong sub but the anxiety subs on reddit are full of other people with anxiety issues and I want advice from the unafflicted.

"Does anyone else experience this? I'll explain. This all started after one bad recreational drug experience. Pretty much I can't sit next to anyone if they are in my peripheral vision. Like on a bus or sitting in a room with people watching tv are good examples. Watching television with other people is a nightmare. It's honestly impossible for me to focus on the tv if anyone is in my peripheral vision, making me want to look over at them. Sitting in class is a fucking nightmare. I guess it's a combination of me thinking people are looking at me or just focusing on me, when in reality I know they aren't so I feel like I have to convey the room and look to see if they are. A bit of paranoia I guess you could say as well. Doesn't matter boy or girl and it even happens with my family members. Honestly doesn't matter who it is.

Just curious if any of you experience this or know anyone who does and your best coping methods. Once I get a buzz from alcohol I always calm down and it isn't a problem anymore so I know it is anxiety related as well. I just need help controlling my racing thoughts . I tend to get panic attacks from this as well because I am constantly thinking about it in those scenarios and I always think that people notice that i'm doing this and making them uncomfortable."

I suffer from this exact thing after smoking too much weed and having a panic attack. What should I do?
