There probably have been threads about this on here before but I need to get this out of my system; I am tired of women ruining popular franchises. You know what I am talking about; Star Wars, Marvel, GOT and a fuckton more.
All these franchises were made by men, written by men and all of their fans are men. The cycle is always this: when a franchise is in its infancy and is mostly considered a niche, its only fans are men and most women don't even know about it and those who do ridicule men for liking it. But the moment it becomes popular women act like they have been big fans since the beginning and they whine about it not being filled with SJW feminist Mary sues. They demand "female representation" which always ends up ruining the franchise and then they forget about it and move on to the next series.
Its happened with Star Wars, Disney just scraped "Legends Canon" because it didn't fit their "criteria" and replaced it with the new trilogy made by people like Kathleen Kennedy who have successfully killed it. People like Dave Filloni and Jon Favreau are trying to salvage it but you can bet Disney's gonna force in some Mary Sue the moment it becomes big again.
Its happening with Marvel, characters like Captain Marvel are gonna destroy it. That cringe scene from Endgame with all the female characters, is the future of the franchise. The next Phase is gonna be a disaster.
The feminization has leaked into the gaming industry has well, realism is being thrown out the window in order to have female fighters in World War 2 and Norse Scandinavia. Games like the Last of Us 2 made all the male characters look like betas while women are given bodies like Arnold in his prime. Any criticism about these games are always met by the media calling male fans misogynistic.
Hollywood will reboot series just to kill them like what Amazon is gonna do with the LOTR TV Show with shit like female Gandalf. This is gonna continue until the entire entertainment industry is filled with Mary Sues while male characters are gonna be regulated to a secondary role because god forbid, young boys have TV role-modals.
