Ever since I was young I always had my mind on not having children despite being raised on a good family, not rich but stable and good emotionally.

I still wasn’t sure about my belief on it till I was a senior in HS. Where I took a mandatory credit health class which nailed it, I thought it was going be like fitness/food pyramid but it was more than that. I had a male teacher by the way, so he taught us about fitness/food/drugs/alcohol/sex/online dangers etc.

The one I did like especially was where he taught us about being parents, he told us to tell him what we would like to be in the future, to search/write about that specific job to see if you can support 1-2 children while being a single parent, and see if you still be happy. Turns out many of the jobs everyone chosen they were struggling now with 1, even myself.

So I really appreciate that teacher for teaching me that stuff.

Now 20, I see many of my friends with children now, some happy with how they’re doing and others paying child support. I have interacted with a lot of girls my age out/in work, I hit it off good with em till they start telling me that I will be a great father for the children I end up having, I just say I don’t want children in my life, I get stares like I did/said something wrong. Then I answer why but I always get the same answer back

That I’m in the wrong, kids are amazing, positive influence/motivation for life, and how I would end up happy.

But you’re single with a kid, then crying to other girls on how you hate man? Idk dawg, seems like you’re countering what you just said lmao
