Just think for a moment on how awful life would be if you were in a relationship, in this current climate, where you risk it ALL just to say you have "someone." I think some men (gradually more) realize at some point: what the hell am I doing here? Life is about fulfilling ME and it's way too short to spend it doing things I can't stand.

The ONLY problem I find being single is that loneliness feeling and it only comes once a month now for me at 29 years of age. I use that time now to settle down and read with the realization that not a lot of men have that privilege while they have a baby bottle in hand or fancy night out to plan for.

My life has been hard enough as it is, please remember that "dating" or getting married isn't a treat where the storybook closes. It's where the fire starts. Stay out of the smoke and take care of yourself and your home, some family members, friends. That's all that matters. Once women made #MenAreTrash a thing they told you everything you need to know about society. Take care of you and get the fuck out of the way because society ain't getting any better, not in our lifetimes. Don't put your dignity in someone else's pocket, that's yours to keep.
