I consider myself a man going his own way, after 14 years of relationship experience, I have no desire for anything romantic, but I don't really buy into too much of the ideology that surrounds this phenomenon, I find a lot of it to just be prejudiced and misogynistic nonsense. I get it, a lot of relationships are simply transactional, and a significant portion of women are not worth the investment that a relationship entails, there's just too much risk of things going wrong (the same could be said for a significant portion of men too), but to say that female nature is inherently blame worthy or lesser, or to say all women are like that, or that feminism has no merit, is manifestly wrong in my humble opinion.

I do think some of the concepts of valuable though, such as not being a simp, being aware how dangerous relationships can be, and not being beta bucks and all that. These are valuable things to learn about for those who don't already know. But I think on the whole there's more potential harm than benefit in the ideology. I do wonder about the audience it attracts , whether it's regular dudes who've had their hearts broken and become disillusioned, involuntary celibates, hardened misogynists, people from the extremes of the political spectrum, or just bottom of the hierarchy guys who don't have much to bring to the table in general.

Anyway I like this sub because it seeks to move beyond the obsessive rage, resentment, bitterness, and cathartic shitposting of the original sub, and actually focus on men living successfully on their own terms. So please give me your opinions and thoughts.
