I canceled my match.com subscription last month (no more dating sites for me). I kinda hit it off with one girl so we exchanged emails and I kept in touch. I've been elusive and haven't even given her my name yet. This seems to have gotten her more interested. I've gone almost a week without responding to her last e-mail and then she followed up with an "are you alive?" email. It's the second email with this tone she has sent, happened before when I went several days before responding as if I owe her an explanation when we have never even met.
There are no major red flags (other than the typical chameleon type stuff) but I'm just not interested in a relationship. She talks about babysitting and hanging out with her nephew every other week. It's not like I want to be spending every other weekend with someone else's family.
I guess my being elusive has piqued her interest. How do I get her to lose interest? Maybe I should just start taking about problems?
