Alright lads, I've been new here and have spent the past few days studying any material I can get my dirty mits on regarding TRP.

Just to give you a bit of back story, I'll keep it as simple as possible.

I've been seeing a girl for around 6 weeks now, early on and still for the most part this is going perctly with her doing the chasing, several successful dates and her staying over mine.

A few weeks ago we clashed badly on a night out with my friends, she tried to walk all over me (for example asking me to stay inside so she could go and talk to a guy and accused me of being jealous when I had a problem with this) and her known dislike of public affection got to the point where I could not even put my arm around her with protest. This reached boiling point with her friend zoning me, I shrugged it off and left the bar we were at. Within about 15 minutes she gets in contact with me, she's crying and saying she's sorry for being a cunt and wants to take it back. She asks to come see me and stays the night and most of the next day. We agree that we don't need to talk about the night before and that we're just going to carry on as normal.

For the most part, we've done just that and have continued to talk, meet up and have plenty plans in the future. However a few things have been slightly different since that night;

  • She's mentioned other guys she's found attractive to me. My reaction was no reaction and I pretty much ignored her comments.
  • She mentioned the fact she was bored the other night and had got Tinder to entertain herself. This time I did react and simply said I don't really care.
  • Her chasing me has definitely subsided slightly, she's being a lot less needy and fliratious.
  • While we're now calling each other she's messaging me me a lot less.
  • While we are making a lot of plans to meet up, the past few times have fallen through.
  • She doesn't seem as bothered as to where I am, what I'm doing and who I'm with.

Am I right in saying this is the point where I need to initiate a "soft next"?
