I made a thread yesterday where I asked you guys how you feel about happy relationships, and many of you responded dismissively and expressed a very pessimistic view of relationships in general (so much that the thread even ended up getting locked). To be honest with you, I found your views to be overly negative and distant from reality. In my experience, people out there do not seem nearly as unhappy in their relationships as many of you suggested, nor do the risks seem so hopeless as you described, so I wonder - and you'll excuse me for suggesting this - if all this pessimism may really be just a cope, born more out of emotional necessity than impartial examination (I do not mean to challenge or offend anyone, this is just the impression that I have formed). In an effort to understand where you're coming from and get a better perspective of what led you to develop your views, I would like to ask you a few additional questions:
-
How old are you?
-
What is your experience with relationships? How many relationships have you been in, and what were they like?
-
What were the events that led you to finally choose independency? When and how did you become a MGTOW?
