I think Gone Girl sort of goes without saying as being an immortal classic that will never be outdone. Since the members of this forum mostly want to stay away from the themes in that film, I won't discuss it anymore in this post.
Castaway starring Tom Hanks is my next choice. The main character in that film was forced to live a MGTOW lifestyle, and I know that's not ideal. Some purists will argue that if he didn't choose a MGTOW lifestyle himself, then it doesn't count. I think the road you travel doesn't matter because it's all about the results (all other things being equal).
With that said, the film is an exploration of the strength of one man and the way a MGTOW lifestyle can change a person for the better. The guy went from being a complete slave of the system in every way to being mentally free with his metaphorical chains cut off at the end of the film.
Some MGTOW may be upset a little because he seemed to be skirt chasing at the end of the movie. There's a simple answer to that: No one is perfect, and every man's style of MGTOW is different.
