I'd like to use this pro-women's argument to prove a point by pointing out the inherent duplicity of the feminist/equality movement.

I'm sure this woman worked hard to get where she is at, so I'm not knocking her for her work ethic. I'll state my thesis then provide some analysis. I believe this article is a good illustration of how the equality movement as a whole is not based on equality but rather that women want to have all of the privileges of womanhood along with the privileges of manhood, and men should essentially be stripped of their privileges because they've had them too long. This woman has a leg up in this situation that a man in similar shoes would not. I am assuming but based on my past observations of the female gender she stayed with her abusive boyfriend because he was able to provide for her needs while she was studying to improve her status in life. So in essence she exchanged her femininity (sex) for security (money). If women walked the line they talked a woman in this situation would not stay with an abusive boyfriend, but, since he is paying the bills and keeping her up, it's okay. So he may have been an asshole but she loses any credible argument against him because she stayed with him. So, after he taught her about investing, paid for her food, room and board (I don't know this for certain but I can only assume from her statements that he made more money and therefore held the power in the relationship she relied on him for her basic needs) and likely any other luxury she enjoyed (computer and supplies for school, clothes, transportation, cell phone, etc.). By the feminist/equality standards, this woman is powerful and strong for using a man to get what she wants in life. This is not just accepted but actively promoted, 'get the man don't let the man get you honey'. Now, let's turn the tables. A man in the same situation, if he was with a woman that was the breadwinner and abusive (it happens, but rarely as women just aren't attracted to male students struggling through college unless it's a cougar using him as a boy toy) the man would be shamed and chastised for not providing for himself. Further, any achievements he did accomplish would be minimized (probably completely negated) by women and lots of men. Even though he were exchanging his companionship/sex/etc for the woman's money. And no one would give a shit about the man being the subject of the abuse, 'he needs to man up' or 'he's not a real man if he lets a woman abuse him' or some other excuse. Granted, I agree, he should move out, but so should the woman. Don't act like you are some poor pitiful victim when you are staying with your boyfriend/girlfriend (this second one is unlikely but I'm saying it for fairness's sake) so they can take care of you financially.
The duplicity of the feminist/equality movement is that women don't want to be equal, they want to be 'more' equal. They want their cake and want to eat it too. They want to enjoy the benefits of being female, enjoy the benefits that males historically enjoyed, (and I'm not okay with that but that's not the part that is the kicker) they want to remove the benefits that males historically enjoyed from males. They want power and control over men, but then of course here is the fallacy of it all, once they have power and control they are no longer attracted to the men they stripped it from and want an alpha that has power and control.
So in a nutshell, women have no idea what they want but they are taking what they think they want at an unprecedented rate at the detriment of not just mankind but humankind. As a species we so much worse off today then we were 50-100 years ago. And I think as men it's our duty to take a stand against this type of bullshit, call it out when you see it. It's the equivalent of a female shit-test on a national/global level, and we men, as a whole, need to course correct.
