I've always lurked this subreddit and the r/Divorce for advice and insight on what to expect.
As of this past Wednesday, June 26th, 2019 - I am officially divorced. And I cannot tell you how much of a roller coaster of emotions that has been for me to go through. We were civil in the end, I'm able to be involved in my step-daughter's life; still as her dad. I just hope that we can keep it that way.

My advice to anyone in the process; hang in there. Don't let the emotional roller coaster get the better of you. There were times where the arguments and the differences would drive me insane, but we made it through it and we're friends now. I don't like that our marriage ended in divorce and our families split up, but I can appreciate that we're able to communicate and get along as civilized human beings.

Just wanted to share. Thank you.
